a selection of works are displayed @
the Stables Gallery,
(Orleans House, Twickenham)
19 Dec 2020- 7 March 2021
I am pleased to announce that I have a selection of 2D and 3D works on display at the group exhibition of the in the Fountain Gallery Artists Association, celebrating its 20th
The show is at the Stables Gallery, that is part of the historic Orleans House complex, run by Richmond Borough Council in Twickenham (TW1 3BL).
And as luck have it, on the day of setting up the show, the gallery announced that it is going to be
NORMALLY open: Tue-Sun 10-5pm
Admission is free
And it is good to know, when it re-opens: The Stables gallery is a very large space with plenty of room to social distancing and it has a great Cafe with outdoor seating areas attached to it. As per Government restrictions in general, face coverings are compulsory and must be worn inside the gallery and café, unless you are exempt. Please keep an eye out for changes though!
... and this what is inside:
I'd planned this display out carefully, as this time I wasn't actually curating the show. I wanted to create an ambient atmosphere, a bubble, that brings together all the individual bits that I chose to describe what made this year so very hard to comprehend and frankly, survive with a straight mind.
Around the stables' space, in the windows, you can also see some pieces from me: four of the "Window" series. Art objects in 3D, that meant to brighten up the lockdown gloom.
I hope that the exhibition will be open shortly after New Year's Eve, and until then, all the best!
