Homo Homini Lupus I & II

Or more accurately: homo homini lupus est is a latin proverb. In my understanding it means that humankind is its own greatest predator. And I didn’t write ‘enemy’ for a reason: there is no honour or code of conduct on display here -as far as I can perceive: all seems bestial.

The ‘three wise monkeys’, is a borrowed Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”. Not surprisingly, it is also used to refer to a lack of moral responsibility on the part of people who refuse to acknowledge by looking the other way.
